Ranra’s AW26 Copenhagen Drop Turns Beeswax Into Fashion Fuel

Icelandic tailoring meets Nordic practicality and the result is winter wear that feels smart, stylish, and real

Paris, Milan, and New York get a lot of the hype, but Copenhagen Fashion Week is quietly becoming the place where street ready innovation meets thoughtful design. This season one of the standout moments came from Iceland based menswear label Ranra, whose Autumn/Winter 2026 collection fused raw craftsmanship with functional beauty.

Ranra’s latest offering is anchored in beeswax, an unlikely yet perfect muse that speaks to both warmth and resilience. Beeswax has long been used to waterproof and protect natural materials like leather and wool, and on this runway it became more than just inspiration. It became a symbol of winter strength and Nordic survival instinct. The result was clothing that feels built to weather real cold while still turning heads.

What landed most with the crowd was the mix of tailoring and winter readiness. Relaxed-fit suits in earthy tones shared the runway with leather bomber jackets, silk blended outerwear, and rich knitwear. A standout puffer jacket with a fur-lined hood added an edge of cozy attitude to the lineup. Every piece looked like something you could wear to class, work, or dinner that turns into dancing.

The color palette was grounded yet lively, drawing from jewel tones and nature’s own shades to reflect the environment that shaped the brand. Overall the collection felt practical but elevated, bringing forward outerwear that does more than cover you. It tells a story of place, weather, and deliberate design.

In a fashion week season filled with spectacle, Ranra reminded us that authenticity and function can be just as stylish as flash. Copenhagen is becoming a key stop for those who care about clothes that work and feel rooted in cultural context. Ranra’s AW26 collection delivered exactly that.
