Lagos Is Officially Going “Detty” All December with a Livespot360 Takeover

Get your party shoes warmed up, because Lagos is about to become the cultural capital this December. Livespot360 just dropped the energy bomb: Detty December Festival will run from 6–31 December 2025, throwing open the city with live shows, stage takeovers, day-and-night parties, fashion, food, film, art, everything you need to feel “Africa’s Real Summer.”

You know “Detty December”, that annual phenomenon where Lagos becomes the festive spiral, diaspora returns in droves, and every block pulses with life. But this time, it’s curated, amplified, and staged at scale.

Livespot360 is structuring the festival around four pillars: music, nightlife, culture, and community. Expect sets across Afrobeats, amapiano, R&B, and cross-continental collabs. Next level fashion drops, culinary pop ups, film chats, and immersive art installations will run alongside the tunes. The “community” pillar promises safe, elevated fan spaces that channel the “homecoming energy” Lagos is known for.

Live music meets big vision! Livespot wants to give structure to what’s already been happening, turning seasonal footfall into sustained creative capital. The aim? To shift Lagos from party capital to global cultural destination.

Tickets drop 1 October (but there’s a waitlist you can join now). What this promises for us, the fans: curated chaos you can survive, global names in your city, and a chance to live in that Lagos energy all month long rather than cramming it into a weekend. Detty December is evolving and 2025 might be the year everyone stops calling it “that wild month” and starts calling it the season.

Are you ready? Because Lagos is about to get very detty (in the best way).
