Justin Bieber Delivers SWAG II, a 23-Track Emotional Sequel That Feels Like a Pop Baptism

Less than two months after his comeback, Bieber surprises fans again—with faith, fame, and vulnerability in a pink wrapped package.

Justin Bieber just surprised everyone by dropping SWAG II, the sequel to his July comeback album SWAG. The release dropped minutes after midnight on September 5, following a brief hold-up that Bieber himself joked about on Instagram. He even played himself sweating the delay for all his followers, writing, “waiting with u,” before finally declaring, “OMGGGGGGGGGGGGGG WE LIIIIIIVE.”

This bonus edition includes 23 new tracks, two more than its predecessor, and it continues the immersive pop and R&B journey he began with SWAG. It features soulful and unexpected collabs with Tems, Lil B, Bakar, Hurricane Chris, and Eddie Benjamin, among others. Production credits list familiar names such as Dijon, Mk.gee, Carter Lang, Mike Will, and Bieber himself.

The album opens with The Story of God, an eight minute spoken word track with ambient synths. Bieber and wife Hailey reenact Adam and Eve’s biblical fall in a theatrical self-reflection that is as bold as it is bizarre. Expect a mix of gospel energy, pop sensuality, and spiritual confession rolled into one raw, eclectic set.

Fans already caught Hailey vibing on Instagram to the track Bad Honey, calling it “my shittttt,” and celebrating this double drop alongside her beauty brand launch. The album cover flips the original black tone to baby pink, giving SWAG II a softer, more intimate feel.
